Hello readers, We are happy to tell you that Google** has announced exciting features of upcoming Android** version 16. We are going to cover announcements and features in 10 points-
1. As on 2025, Android is running on over 3 billion active devices in over 119 countries. Google is going to roll out stable version of Android 16 on android devices soon. It is coming to other devices as well like watches, tablets, TVs and autos. Undoubtedly, the Android team is improving quality and innovation of OS version by version.
2. Google has made it possible in making RCS messages compatible on android OS as well as iOS.
3. With the launch of Android 16, Material 3 design language is going to get update as Material 3 expressive design language. This update will make Android apps more expressive, natural and refreshed to the People.
This new design language by Google will make every Android device looks different in aesthetic as per the choice of People.
It combines form and function together. e.g. live updates in notification. Now people can see and get live update of their order done on any delivery app in notification directly.
4. With the announcement of new Android version, watches are also getting update as Wear OS 6.
In this, corners of apps' UI is more rounded now. Media controls are refreshed with new UI.
People will now get beauty with battery optimization in their Android watch.
5. Gemini* AI in Android
Powerful assistant: Google has introduced it's AI named Gemini in Android OS. It's an powerful assistant available in over 14 languages. People can take help with this AI in various ways for their daily life. e.g. You can show available makeup stuffs to Gemini and it will help in suggesting you what to do with that makeup stuff with help of your device's camera.
Privacy: Google has also kept in mind that People loves privacy too. So it's also possible to choose what details to be shared with Gemini.
In coming months, Gemini is going to launch in wear OS for watches.
It is coming in Android Autos as well. In Android Auto, It can find charging station for you so that you can be engaged in other work. It can help you in news headlines with your voice command as well.
Gemini capabilities is coming in Android TVs too in coming months.
Gemini is also coming in Android VR in collaboration with Samsung.
6. Safety and Security: Android smartphones ranked higher in built-in security with the help of detection of spams and fraud detection in Phone and Messages apps.
7. Now Find My Device feature is changing to Find Hub. It is designed with safety in mind.
8. You can also join their beta program to get early access of Android 16.
9. Mobile phone manufacturers are going to launch their new devices as well with latest Android 16 e.g. Samsung** s25 ultra (gemini can directly interact with other apps in device e.g. adding some important date to your calendar app), Google Pixel 9A, Motorola** razr ultra, Nothing** 3A pro (AI powered devices, zoom capable camera).
